<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack device capable of enhancing utilization factor of an extended reinforcing part such as a rib and advantageous to prevent the warping deformation of an end plate. <P>SOLUTION: The stack device has a first end plate 3; a second end plate 4; a stack 2; a first tension member 6A extended along the stacking direction of the stack 2 and connected to the first end plate 3 and the second end plate 4; and a second tension member 6B extended along the stacking direction (arrow X direction) of the stack in the position facing the first tension member, and connected to the first end plate 3 and the second end plate 4.
