<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust variations in chrominance of a light-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A light scatter portion 106 is formed on at least a portion of a surface of a sealing resin portion 105 which contains a phosphor 110 and coats a light-emitting diode chip 108. Light from the light-emitting diode chip 108 is scattered by the light scatter portion 106 to return to the sealing resin portion 105, and the phosphor 110 is excited to fluoresce. Part of light emitted from the light-emitting diode chip 108 to the outside of an light-emitting element 100 is returned to the sealing resin portion 105, and the phosphor 110 converts the chrominance of the light to adjust variance in chrominance of the light-emitting element 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
