<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update incidental information incidental to a medical image to new information and to reflect the update on an image server when referring to the medical image in an image viewer terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A diagnostic reading terminal 40 transmits an order relating information acquisition request to an RIS 10, and acquires order relating information from the RIS 10. Also, the diagnostic reading terminal 40 transmits a DICOM image data acquisition request to an image server 30 and acquires DICOM image data from the image server 30. Then, the diagnostic reading terminal 40 determines the presence/absence of consistency between patient information and/or inspection information included in the order relating information and patient information and/or inspection information included in the DICOM image data. Then, the diagnostic reading terminal 40 corrects the inconsistent incidental information of the DICOM image data and transmits the DICOM image data to the image server 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
