<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that separates scattered toner from parts touched by a user, and excels in maintenance, and also to provide a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus, which use the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 7 has, in a developing case with an opening formed facing a photoreceptor 1: a developing roller 27 for holding developer, part of which is exposed from the opening; and a conveying screw 31a for conveying developer to the developing roller 27. The developing device 7 is provided with an exhaust space 26 by which a gas introduced from a communication opening 34, communicating with an area where the developing roller 27 and conveying screw 31a face each other, is exhausted from the exhaust port 35 that is opened in the lengthwise direction of the conveying screw 31a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
