<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming method, a program, and a recording medium for ensuring a secure equipment operation. <P>SOLUTION: A function to be used is limited by type of IC cards in user authentication through an IC card, so that it is possible to easily set use authority by the type of the IC cards without changing the use authority of every user when using an image forming apparatus having an authentication function through the IC card, and that it is possible to achieve a secure equipment operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
