<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular dust particle suction device having a suction wheel built in a module and rotatable, which suction device improves suction efficiency and retains the same suction property when different types of hand tool devices having various work capacities are used according to purposes in a system composed of the devices. <P>SOLUTION: The modular dust particle suction device can be attached to the hand tool device 3 at contact surfaces 2, 2', and 2". The modular dust particle suction device includes an air filter 4, the suction wheel 5 that is driven to rotate, and an exhaust opening 6 open to the outside. At least one additional opening 7 open to the outside is formed additionally on the contact surface 2. It is preferable that the total area of the additional opening 7 be smaller than the total area of the exhaust opening 6, for example, two-thirds of the total area of the exhaust opening 6.
