<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect engine torque and brake part torque even in the fixed gear ratio mode of a transmission having a continuously variable speed mode and the fixed gear ratio mode. <P>SOLUTION: A dog clutch mechanism includes a rotary element and a fixed element engaging each other. The rotary element includes a plurality of rotary side dog teeth, and the fixed element includes the same number of fixed side dog teeth. On at least one of the fixed side dog teeth, a pair of pressure detecting parts are provided at both ends contacting the rotary side dog teeth. The pressure detecting parts detect pressure given by the rotary side dog teeth in the state that the rotary side dog teeth gear with the fixed side dog teeth. In accordance with a difference between detected pressure values and the number of the dog teeth, torque on the fixed element can be calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
