<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successfully obtain good pedal operation feelings similar to the pedal of an acoustic piano even while attaining space saving, simplification of configuration and cost reduction of a device. <P>SOLUTION: The pedal device 1 of the electronic keyboard musical instrument is provided with a pedal 1, a frame 20 for supporting the pedal 10 so as to be movable according to a pressing operation, a first coil (first reactive force generation member) 40 for applying a first reactive force to the pedal 1 from the pressing start position of the pedal 10, and a second coil spring (second reactive force generation member) 50 for applying a second reactive force to the pedal 10 from a position pressed by a predetermined amount from the pressing start position of the pedal 10.
