PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film packaging machine which has a simple structure, is inexpensive in terms of equipment, and can feed the film to the downward side of a load to pack the load. SOLUTION: A support frame is mounted rotatably around a vertical axis so as to enclose a load placement part, and a support table 11 is vertically movably mounted on the support frame. A roll holding member, a pair of stretching rolls 14 and an expansion guide mechanism 15 are mounted on the support table 11. The expansion guide mechanism 15 is constructed by mounting a circular arc-like guide 23 having truncated cone-like rollers 22 rotatably arranged in a circular arc-like shape on a support member 24 for a circular arc-like guide. An air cylinder 25 is linkably connected to the support member 24 for the circular arc-like guide. When the air cylinder 25 is stretched or contracted, the support member 24 for the circular arc-like guide can be shifted between a normal posture and a tilting posture, in the normal posture the film F being turned to the horizontal direction, in the tilting posture the upper side becoming more remote from the stretch rolls 14 so as to make the film F guided by the circular arc-like guide 23 approach the downward side.
