PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing detection sensor, which can easily release a warning temporarily by a simple structure and can achieve a reliable warning condition easily, for a door or the like. SOLUTION: The opening/closing sensor for a door or the like, is provided with: a detection part detecting opening/closing of a door or the like; a control part processing a signal detected by the detection part; a transmission/reception part for transmitting an alarm signal to a controller based on a signal processed in the control part inside a main body case. The control part transmits a temporary signal, which prohibits transmission of the alarm signal by the controller, to the controller via the transmission/reception part for a predetermined time when a temporary switch installed to the main body case is operated.
