PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device, capable of accurately reporting an expiration time of elapsed years while reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The water heater 100 includes a time information receiving part 40 which receives current time information provided from a predetermined broadcasting station, a period information storage part Me which stores a plurality of pieces of time information up to expiration of a fixed period reckoned from a reference time; a reference time setting means 50 for setting the reference time; a determination part 72c which determines whether the current time information is matched to any one of the plurality of pieces of time information or not, and an expiration report means 60 which reports arrival of the expiration when mismatching of the time information is determined.
