PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily construct an exterior structure with good appearance by use of a simply structured column. SOLUTION: In the exterior structure, a support member 30 is raised on a base plate 31 fixed to a bed 4, a column 3 or 64 is fitted to the support member 30, and a side wall 40a, 45 thereof is fixed by a fixture 38. The column 3 or 64 includes a column body 40 fitted onto the support member 30 and fixed to the support member 30 by the fixture 38, and a cover 42 detachably installed along the column body 40 to cover the fixture 38. The column body 40 and the cover 42 are connected to be vertically insertable and drawable at both lateral sides of the fixture 38 through connecting parts 48 provided substantially over the whole vertical length, and the structure may include a cap 43 covering the column body 40 and the cover 42 from the upper side.
