The invention relates to barrel-mounted device for shooting in air and in water. The inventive barrel-mounted device for a fire arm comprises a unit for attachment to the barrel, an acceleration part with gas exhaust ports and a protector, wherein the channel of the acceleration part is the extension of the barrel bore and several sections are formed between the protector and the acceleration part. Each section covers at least two gas exhaust ports in such a way that it enables the explosive gas to flow out from the acceleration part channel to the section via the first of said gas exhaust ports and from the section to the acceleration part channel via the second gas exhaust port. Said invention makes it possible to reduce the recoil pulse, gun muzzle blast and a blast acoustic wave while shooting in air and to reduce the recoil pulse and a blast hydraulic wave while shooting in water.
