摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming device that forms a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell which can supply gas efficiently and favorably by reducing pressure loss in gas supply and its forming method. <P>SOLUTION: A collector as a gas diffusion layer, or a metal lath MR, is formed by using a metal lath processing device R. This device R includes a feed roller OR which supplies a stainless board S, a pressing mechanism OK which fixes the board S and a blade die H which forms a net-shaped penetrating hole in a zigzag arrangement by carrying out a shearing process sequentially on the board S. The blade die H is constituted of a lower blade SH as a fixing die and an upper blade UH as a cutting die provided with an almost trapezoidal form blade. Also, the blade H includes a pinching part K which pinches the board S which is further extended after being extended by the upper blade UH with the upper blade UH. By this means, the shape of the upper blade UH and the pinching part K can be transferred to the board S favorably and the sagging that occurs in cutting can be corrected appropriately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
