<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a clip having an opening/closing operation function, in which a clip portion can be formed from a relatively thin material such as a metal strip and assembly efficiency and operability are satisfactory. <P>SOLUTION: The support structure for the clip having the opening/closing operation function is configured so that the rear side of the clip portion 41 is pressed toward the clip support 43, thereby swinging the front side of the clip potion 41 away from the clip support 43. In the support structure, an intermediate support member 42 is disposed between the clip portion 41 and the clip support 43. This intermediate support member 42 moves over and fits to the clip portion 41 so as to be integrated with it.
