<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or eliminate damages by a collision object when there occurs a collision against a vehicle headlamp from the front. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlamp is provided with a lamp unit 40 which is housed in a lamp chamber 11 demarcated by a lamp housing 20 and a cover 30 which closes the front aperture of the lamp housing and has a light source; and an aiming mechanism 50 which supports the lamp unit capably slant-moving to the lamp housing. The aiming mechanism is constructed of an aiming fulcrum 51 to constitute slanting fulcrum of the lamp unit, an aiming screw 52 which is supported rotatably to the lamp housing and extends to the front, and a bearing 53 of synthetic resin which is supported to a bracket 42b installed on the lamp unit and moves in front and rear direction along the aiming screw according to rotation of the aiming screw.
