<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion of a post to improve durability by making the post near the ground and in the ground of stainless steel, making the upper part of the post of carbon steel and welding both post parts in the field in an erection method of the post of a road traffic sign or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the post erecting method, a lower cylinder made of stainless steel sealed at the lower end is buried underground so that an upper end is at a predetermined height from the ground, and an upper cylinder made of carbon steel is formed in a size insertable in the lower cylinder with a clearance. The upper cylinder is positioned in the lower cylinder buried underground, and the upper cylinder is fixed to the lower cylinder by site welding. Durability based on corrosion is improved by the lower cylinder made of stainless steel, and since fixing is carried out by site welding after correcting the erection angle of the upper cylinder to a predetermined value in the field utilizing the clearance between the outer surface of the upper cylinder and the inner surface of the lower cylinder, the post can be erected with a less error of the upper cylinder from a design angle (e.g. perpendicular to the ground surface). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
