<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress communication time from an operation control unit to first and second drive control units without increasing the capacity of a communication packet. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator control device is provided with communication controllers 37, 52, 62, etc. for transferring information based on a communication cycle between the operation control unit 31 and the first and second drive control units 50, 60 by serial communications. The communication controllers 37, 52, 62, transmit first information to perform drive control of first and second motors 71, 72 from the operation control unit 31 to the first and second drive control units 50, 60 as a transmission packet 200 with respect to each communication cycle. By using the communication controller 37, the communication controllers 37, 52, 62 transmit second information from the operation control unit 31 to the first and second drive control units 50, 60 as the transmission packet 200 in a plurality of communication cycles.
