PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn on illumination in specific patterns per event to not only improve the operability and visibility of operation input keys but also allow easily discriminating events. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 with a plurality of light emitting means includes a LED control means 630 for controlling lighting and a lighting pattern of a three-color LED 480, an event detection means 612 for detecting an event on the mobile phone 1, and an LED display pattern registration part 621 for storing lighting patterns per event of the three-color LED 480. When an event is detected by the event detection means 612, the LED control means 630 turns on the three-color LED 480 in accordance with a lighting pattern corresponding to the event, which is stored in the LED display pattern registration part 621.
