PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure and a mounting method of an auxiliary cooling device to an outdoor unit capable of simply and easily performing mounting work of the auxiliary cooling device of the outdoor unit of a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: Since the auxiliary cooling device is suspended and supported by a first bracket at its upper portion, a weight of the auxiliary cooling device 30 is supported by the first bracket 10 by a time just before being fixed, without supported by a worker. Thus, the auxiliary cooling device 30 can be temporarily positioned, and positioning brackets 10, 20 can be fixed to prescribed positions only by slightly moving the auxiliary cooling device 30 from the temporarily-positioned state.
