PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston pump capable of respectively reducing suction resistance of oil to a cylinder and delivery resistance of the oil from the cylinder, regardless of the rotating direction of a rotary member forming the cylinder. SOLUTION: This piston pump 7A has a first guide passage 41 and a second guide passage 42 opening a first passage 36 functioning as an oil supply passage in normal rotation and as an oil discharge passage in reverse rotation and a second passage 37 functioning as the oil discharge passage in normal rotation and as the oil supply passage in reverse rotation in an outer race 13, and has an inner race 15 for communicating a contact surface 15a with the cylinder 16 by arranging a valve surface 38a crossing with the rotational axis Ax1, and is arranged so that the first guide passage 41 inclines in the normal rotation direction A toward the contact surface 15a from the cylinder 16, and is arranged so that the second guide passage 42 inclines in the reverse rotation direction B toward the contact surface 15a from the cylinder 16.
