PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially inexpensively and easily producing an alkenyl ether compound and an alkenylamino compound useful as an intermediate for medicines and agrochemicals, an intermediate for photographic chemicals, an intermediate for electronic materials, etc. SOLUTION: The method for producing an alkenyl ether compound represented by general formula (3) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a 1-8C alkyl group or an aryl group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-8C alkyl group; and R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each a substituent group in which the value of Hammett's substituent constantσp is≥0.20) comprises reacting an orthoester compound represented by general formula (1) with a methylene compound represented by general formula (2). The method for producing an alkenylamino compound represented by general formula (5) (wherein R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group) comprises reacting the alkenyl ether compound with an amino compound represented by general formula (4).
