PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein, even though a conventional body belt for a pet can disperse the power given from a lead to the pet for reducing the load on the pet, as compared to a collar used by itself, the belt-shaped member is thrusted into the body of the pet, when a large force is applied to inflict pain to the pet, since the belt-shaped member is constituted of narrow belts. SOLUTION: The body belt 1 for the pet is obtained, wherein the body belt body 5 has a linking belt-shaped body 4, formed integrally between intermediate parts of the first belt-shaped part 2 and the second belt-shaped body 3; string-shaped bodies 6 (6a and 6b) are linked to both terminals of the first belt-shaped part 2, and penetration parts 7 (7a and 7b) are constituted in both the terminal parts of the second belt-shaped body 3; and the string-shaped bodies 6a and 6b which pass through the penetration parts 7a and 7b, respectively, are passed through a slide-type fixing tool 8, and the terminal parts thereof are fixed to a lead-attaching member 9.
