A method for offering a customized advertisement based on the usage details of a credit card and a system therefor are provided to perform the target advertisement more efficiently and effectively by offering the customized advertisement corresponding to the consumption propensity of each customer. The card usage propensities of each customer are classified by keywords to make feature information. The made feature information is provided to a plurality of advertiser terminals(S3). Advertisement requests for desired keywords are received from the advertiser terminals(S4). Points to be offered are provided(S5). Advertisements are posted in personal web pages of each customer. When the posted advertisements are used, points are assigned(S7).
