A direct acting type tappet of a two-step variable valve lift device for vehicle is provided to make the configuration simple compared to the conventional one, composed of inner and outer tappets and a locking pin, thereby reducing the number of assembly process and the manufacturing cost. A direct acting type tappet of a two-step variable valve lift device for vehicle comprises a tappet body(10) which has a slot(11), through which a high cam passes, and a movement space(12) and contacts with a low cam; a lifter(20) which rotates by fluid pressure in the movement space and moves up and down to contact with a high cam; a hydraulic line which is provided in the tappet body and the lifter to rotate the lifter; and a movement guide unit which is provided in the tappet body and the lifter to guide up and down movement of the lifter. |
