A driving method of a liquid crystal display device are provided to reduce the distortion of a common voltage by turning on a second image alternately when displaying the first image and a second image surrounding the first mage. A first and a second data driving circuit(142,144) receive a polarity reverse signal and outputs a data signal. A liquid crystal panel is connected with one of a first and a second data diving circuit while having a pixel of quad type composed of sub-pixels. In adjacent two pixels, one is driven when a first sub-pixel is on and a second sub-pixel is off while the other is driven when the first sub-pixel is off and a second sub-pixel is on.
