ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element which exhibits high external extraction quantum efficiency and has a low drive voltage, a lighting system using the same element, and a display device.

SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element contains bis-type transition metal complex including metal of 8-10 groups in a periodic table of the elements. A ligand is at least one nitrogen atom, and a chelate type one which is coordinated with metal and contains a 5-membered ring part, and a 5-membered or 6-membered ring part.
