<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which a communication speed is not decelerated even when data communication for a plurality of functions are executed in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a first communication control unit 1045 which controls a USB interface unit so as to perform communication of image data corresponding to one of a plurality of image processing functions with a higher-order apparatus while using a first channel; a second communication control unit 1046 which adds identification information corresponding to each image processing function to image data corresponding a plurality of image processing functions and controls the USB interface unit so as to perform communication of the data to which the relevant identification information is added with a higher-order apparatus while using a second channel; and a priority control unit 1047 which determines priority for each image processing function and performs switching of communication of the image data with the higher-order apparatus, whether the communication is made via the first communication control unit 1045 or via the second communication control unit 1046, in accordance with the determined priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
