<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of accurately estimating temperature of a catalyst which is constructed movably according to exhaust gas pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device including the catalyst which is constructed movably in a passage direction according to exhaust gas pressure is provided at each branch part 41 of an exhaust manifold. ECU 70 estimates catalyst temperature at a catalyst temperature estimation part 101, estimates a catalyst position (catalyst distance) based on engine speed and load rate from an exhaust pressure estimation map 103 and a catalyst distance estimation map 104, calculates correction temperature of the catalyst based on the estimated catalyst position from a catalyst temperature correction map 105, and corrects the estimated catalyst temperature by adding the correction temperature to the estimated catalyst temperature at an addition part 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
