摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical compensation film which is excellent in productivity, with less retardation irregularity of an optical anisotropic layer, and excellent in adhesiveness between a support and the optical anisotropic layer, and has wet-heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The optical compensation film has one or more optically anisotropic layers on a transparent support. The method of manufacturing the optical compensation film is characterized in that the optically anisotropic layer is applied by using an ink composition containing at least one kind of solvent which is represented by the general formula (1) and has a boiling point of 140 to 280&deg;C, by 1-20 mass%, according to an inkjet method.
