PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a control device for an imaging apparatus, an adjustment for which it is necessary to continuously vary a controlled variable is performed using a volume however in powering-on or data switching, when a video level data value that is a stored adjustment value is read out, the adjustment may be operated with an adjustment value different from an intended adjustment value or the adjustment may be disabled partially in an adjustment range of the volume. SOLUTION: A control device for an imaging apparatus including an adjustment volume includes: a volume center value confirming means for confirming that a value of the adjustment volume is close to a center value or close to an automatic adjustment value after the control device is powered on or after data switching; and a means for outputting to the imaging apparatus adjustment value databased on the value of the volume after the volume center value confirming means has confirmed that the value of the adjustment volume is close to the center value.
