PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a waterproofing agent easy in handling, and to equip a spliced part with a waterproof structure having heat resistance. SOLUTION: In a method for waterproofing the spliced part, the spliced part is passed through a heat shrinkable tube, both ends of the heat shrinkable tube in the length direction are extended over both ends of the spliced part, the heat shrinkable tube is mounted by heating one end side of the heat shrinkable tube in the length direction, and by adhering the heated side closely to the outer periphery of an electric wire group extending from one end of the spliced part, the other end side of the heat shrinkable tube surrounds the outer periphery of the electric wire group with a gap, a solid waterproofing agent made of thermosetting resin powder is inserted into the gap, then the thermosetting resin powder of the solid waterproofing agent is molten by heating, the heat shrinkable tube is contracted, the heat shrinkable tube is closely adhered to the outer peripheries of insulating coatings of both side electric wires sandwiching the spliced part, the spliced part and core wire exposed parts between the spliced part and the insulating coatings are impregnated with the molten thermosetting resin, and the heat shrinkable tube is closely adhered to their outer peripheries.
