PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of ensuring a stable burning state by preventing the periphery of an exhaust port from being distorted or deformed in a cooling step after brazing to uniform the exhaust resistance of heating gas. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 2 comprises a water pipe 21 having a pipe group spirally disposed, the pipe group composed of a plurality of adjacent pipe bodies 20, and each pipe body distributing hot water; a case 22 which contains the water pipe 21 and has a heating gas supply port 24 for performing heat exchange with the hot water and an exhaust port 25 having a long rectangular shape as the whole; and a support metal fitting 6 for fixing the water pipe 21 to the inner wall of the case. The exhaust port 25 is divided to a plurality of small exhaust ports 25a, 25b, 25c and 25d by a connection part 27 which is formed in a position facing the support metal fitting 6 and mutually connects the long sides of the exhaust port 25.
