PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device capable of suppressing power consumption. SOLUTION: After a parking brake is operated and keeping a pressing force, an IGN SW34 (ignition switch) is switched off and power connection to a control ECU 4 (power supply part) is blocked, when a wheel speed sensor detection value changes, power connection to the control ECU 4 (power supply part) for a parking brake re-clamp action is started. Thus, for conducting the parking brake re-clamp action, power consumption can be suppressed compared with a conventional technology requiring electric power supply to a power supply part for a motor and a PKB (parking brake) driving mechanism even though a vehicle is stopped.
