APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PERCEIVED DEPTH OF MULTI-VIEW IMAGES

A device for controlling a sense of recognition depth of a multi-viewpoint image and a method thereof are provided to control a sense of depth even by the multi-viewpoint image regardless of a camera device, according to a user's desired depth information. A multi-viewpoint image information input unit(111) inputs a multi-viewpoint image and depth data of the multi-viewpoint image. A time difference calculator(120) calculates time difference data of the multi-viewpoint image by using the image and the depth data. A time difference converter(130) calculates a conversion time difference corresponding to a user's request depth information by using the time difference data. A conversion image generator(140) generates a multi-viewpoint conversion image by using the conversion time difference.
