<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: the current mobile telephone penetration rate is almost 100% and there is a surfeit of competition among mobile telephone companies, so that the Internet using a cross-media digital television in which communication and broadcasting are fused is less likely to become widespread because the use of the Internet requires extra time and effort for the user when a modem with a complicated cable or an optic fiber is used. <P>SOLUTION: By incorporating a mobile telephone function into a digital television, contents (video, etc.) on a mobile telephone/the Internet can be used without a modem with a complicated cable or an optical fiber. Accordingly, the user can eliminate useless cost and effort and a world standard can be established in the cross-media business in which broadcasting and communication are fused. Also, contents on the Internet are converted into specifications suitable for monitoring of a digital television.
