<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control a device connected on a communication network without considering the classification of a network. <P>SOLUTION: The device control apparatus for performing communication by using an application program for every type of various networks of devices connected through a communication network, and for controlling the transmission/reception of data with those devices includes: a network transmission/reception part for detecting the presence/absence or state change of the connection of the devices for every type of the various networks; an application program execution part for selecting and executing an application received in a real time or a plurality of preliminarily stored application programs, and for controlling the device; and a device generalization management part having a device management means for generating one control relay part for one device corresponding to the type of the device and a device list providing means for providing reference information to the control relay part to the application program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
