PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a related document wherein an actual situation of document preparation in a business project is considered.

SOLUTION: An input processing part 11 sets data according to the business project to a weighting table 146 and a related threshold table 147 based on data input from a terminal device 2. A related document extraction processing part 12 totals an appearance frequency of a keyword included in the weighting table 146 about each document registered in a document DB 14, and performs principal component analysis based on the totaled appearance frequency of the keyword and its weighting value to calculate a characteristic amount of each document. When a distance between coordinate positions expressed by the characteristic amount is not more than a related threshold value set in the related threshold value table 147, the document is decided as the related document, and the related document to a reference document is extracted. An output processing part 13 displays a name of the extracted related document on a terminal device 2.
