PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer for factorization in prime numbers appropriate for learning the factorization in prime numbers. SOLUTION: When the numerical value to be factorized is input in a learning mode, the input request of a prime number which performs the factorization in prime numbers of the numerical value is displayed. When a user inputs the numerical value in response to this, it is determined whether or not the input numerical value is a prime number and the numerical data to be factorized is divided by the input prime number. When it is determined that the number can be divided by the division processing, the number of times of division processing by the input prime number is counted; when the quotient calculated by the division processing is not "1", the division processing is repeated until the number can not be divided by the identical prime number. When it can not be further divided, the result on the progress of the factorization in prime numbers is displayed and the input request of the prime number is displayed again. When the quotient calculated by the division processing becomes "1", the result of calculation subjected to the factorization in prime numbers is displayed according to the input prime numbers so far and the number of times of division processing by the prime numbers.
