PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device efficiently radiating heat. SOLUTION: The electro-optical device (1) has an electro-optical panel (100) performing electro-optical operations in the pixel area (10a), and a heat dissipation panels (121, 122) having grooves and stacked at least on one outer surface of the electro-optical panel to face the pixel area. During the operation, the heat generated in the electro-optical device is radiated by the cooling air supplied to the electro-optical device and passing through the grooves.
