PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new 4-fluorine-substituted pyrazole compound useful as an intermediate for synthesizing a luminescent material. SOLUTION: The fluorine-substituted pyrazole compound is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, either one of R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>is a 1-4C alkyl group having at least one fluorine atom, the other being H or a fluorine atom; and R<SB>3</SB>is H, a halogen atom or monovalent alkyl group).
