This invention relates to novel alpha-aminoamide derivatives, their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, and hydrates thereof. This invention also provides compositions comprising a compound of this invention and the use of such compositions in methods of treating diseases and conditions that are beneficially treated by administering an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B) and/or a sodium (Na+) channel blocker, and/or a calcium (Ca2+) channel modulator.
