STRETCHABLE ABSORBING BODY

A stretchable absorbing body (10) has a stretchable base sheet (20) and also has a large number of individually independent absorbing sections (30) arranged on at least one side of the base sheet (20). The absorbing sections (30) are fixed via fixing points (33) to the base sheet (20) in such a way that the shape of the absorbing sections (30) does not change even if the base sheet (20) is stretched and contracted. The stretchable absorbing body (10) is adapted to be stretchable at its portions between the fixing points (33). Preferably, those portions of the stretchable absorbing body (10) which are located at the fixing points (33) are not stetchable.
