METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING MEDIA FLOW REQUEST IN SIP NETWORK

A method for processing media flow request in SIP network involves that an edge node sends a media flow request message to a central node after receiving the media flow request message sent by a media flow request terminal (S401); the central node judges whether the current requested media flow is being sent to the edge node by the central node (S402); if yes, an indication information is sent to the edge node to indicate the edge node to distribute the requested media flow to the media flow request terminal, the requested media flow is distributed to the media flow request terminal after receiving the indication information by the edge node(S403). The method of the invention performs the distribution process of media flow at the edge node, thus reduces the quantity of network resources for identical media flow, and improves the efficiency of sending media flow.
