<p>A touch panel liquid crystal display is provided to largely reduce manufacturing costs by reducing material costs and simplifying a manufacturing process. A touch panel liquid crystal display comprises an upper substrate(110), a lower substrate(120), a liquid crystal, and a signal detection unit. The upper substrate comprises the first insulating substrate(111), a transparent conductive film(115) formed on the first insulating substrate and the first polarizing substrate(113) formed on the transparent conductive film. The lower substrate comprises the second insulating substrate and thin film transistors formed in a side opposite to the second polarizing substrate with the second polarizing substrate formed on the second insulating substrate and the second insulating substrate between thin film transistors. The liquid crystal is interposed between the upper substrate and lower substrate. The signal detection unit detects a contact location of the location signal input unit.</p> |
