<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording body, which is superior in color developing sensitivity and image quality and, at the same time, in imprinting properties, scratching properties and resistance to plasticizer. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording body, in which a thermal recording layer including at least colorless or light-colored basic leuco dye and electron acceptive developer is provided as a coating layer on a substrate, at least the uppermost layer among the thermal recording layer and other arbitrarily provided coating layers is made of a wood pulp or a non-wood pulp as a raw material dry-ground at normal temperature so as to include powdered cellulose with the average particle diameter of 5-30 μm under the condition that the thermal recording layer includes, as the electron acceptive developer, 4-hydroxy-4'-allyloxy-diphenyl sulfone is included for revealing superior effects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
