PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of outputting advertising information recorded, together with a photographic image to the outside, as necessary. SOLUTION: The digital camera records the photographic image obtained upon photographing and the advertising information on a memory card. Thus, when the advertising information is recorded, together with the photographing image on the memory card, an image containing an advertise is outputted from the digital camera 1 (step S360). Meanwhile, when the advertising information is not recorded together with the photographic image in the memory card, because there is no advertising information obtained upon photographing, the photographic image is outputted (step S250). Alternatively, the advertising information is retrieved from an advertising database and is obtained (step S300, S310), and an image which contains an advertisement, obtained by compositing the advertisement information and the photographic image is outputted in step S360.
