PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical apparatus capable of suppressing the generation of noises and beat tones, while being reduced in the cost. SOLUTION: The electrical apparatus is equipped with a secondary battery 7 and a load (motor 8) and uses an output from an AC adaptor 2, with a transformer for stepping-down a commercial power source to a prescribed voltage, to charge the secondary battery 7 and to drive the load (motor 8). A control circuit 5 is used to perform on/off control of a switching element 3, for controlling supply of the output from the AC adaptor 2 to the secondary battery 7 and the load (motor 8), at a frequency of 1 [kHz] or lower which is not an integral multiple of frequency of the commercial power source.
