PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein for a conventional resolver, since the end face of the body of an insulation cover structure on the periphery of a cross-pin is separated from a transition wire, the transition wire cannot be covered with varnish, when the varnish is sucked togather to the cross-pin and the varnish on the periphery of a cross-pin decreases, thus being unable to produce a floating wire. SOLUTION: An insulation cover structure of a resolver is constituted, such that a protrusion 17 protruding from an insulated ring 13 in the axial direction A thereof is provided between respective magnetic pole covers 15 of the insulated ring 13 so as to approach or come into contact with a transition wire 2a which is hooked on a cross-pin 16.
