PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera which can be mounted on the ceiling with a little burden and simple work. SOLUTION: A surveillance camera includes a pedestal part 51 including a terminal and a body part 52 including a camera apparatus 1, each of the pedestal part 51 and the body part 52 includes linkage means for mechanically and electrically linking them with each other, the pedestal part 51 includes a first mechanism engaging means and a first electrical connecting means CN51, the body part 52 includes a second mechanism engaging means that can be engaged with the first mechanism engaging means, and a second electrical connecting means CN52 that can be directly connected with the first electrical connecting means CN51. Linkage is performed by the engagement and direct connection and the linkage is carried out by approaching the pedestal part 51 and the body part 52. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
